Annie Stone

Associate Consultant

Annie joined Hourglass as an associate consultant. She was keen to find a people facing and challenging role which would allow her to gain experience and develop a satisfying career.

When she’s asked what she focuses on outside the office, one of Annie’s priorities is her family. With lots of aunts, uncles and cousins, there’s always something going on, and that’s the way she likes it. Another passion is travel. Annie always has her eye on the next trip away, and sets aside the time and money she needs to broaden her horizons.

One of the things Annie likes most about her role at Hourglass is that every day – and every conversation she has with candidates and clients – is different. She’s learning about schools and parts of the UK that are entirely new to her, and developing her knowledge and expertise along the way.

Candidates

Your next career move is our business. You can trust us to make it count.

Schools

We’ll always go the extra mile to find the people you need.

Types of roles we recruit overseas candidates for:

Long-term supply

Long-term supply provides a level of security without the teacher or the school committing indefinitely.

Permanent roles

The majority of the roles we work on are permanent teaching posts in secondary schools in the south east of England.

Leadership roles

Ambition comes in all shapes and sizes. For some teachers, it’s all about the subject, but for others, moving up the career ladder means taking on management responsibilities.

Overseas teachers

Our role is to provide teachers with exactly what they need to relocate and thrive in the most exciting teaching opportunities in the UK.
