Case study 1 – Hourglass as an extension of the SLT

In 2017, Hourglass began its relationship with a large, rural all-through academy in Buckinghamshire.  In special measures, the academy struggled to recruit, and suffered from a poor reputation in the surrounding area.  

Hourglass consultants worked as an extension of the SLT to rebuild essential expertise, ultimately providing more than 18 core subject specialists.
