Hourglass Education are currently assisting a mixed secondary in Welwyn Garden City as they look to appoint a teacher of English to join them on a full time, permanent basis from September 2023.
The school, run by a strong SLT, enjoys a solid reputation in the local area and was judged to be ‘Good’ by Ofsted at their last inspection.
The school are looking for committed classroom practitioners with an ability to bring the subject to life and engage students of all levels of ability. Experience of teaching English at Key Stage 3 & 4 level is essential, whilst KS5 experience would be advantageous.
