Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher specialising in either History or Geography with experience of delivering creative and inspiring lessons to KS3 & 4 pupils?
James, one of our senior education consultants, is currently assisting a mixed secondary near Slough as they look to appoint a Humanities teacher to join them in September. Applications are invited from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. The position is available on a full-time basis and a permanent contract available for the right candidate.
This mixed 11-18 secondary is based near the Berkshire town of Slough, and enjoys excellent transport links into London as well as the neighbouring counties of Oxfordshire, Surrey and Berkshire. The school has a strong local reputation and is in the process of raising standards in all departments. Ofsted grade many elements of school life as ‘good’. Its Senior Leadership Team are well established with a progressive approach.
It is hoped that the successful candidate will bring further success to the department. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to relate to young people are essential, as is a thorough knowledge of the curriculum through Key Stages 3 & 4. There is also the possibility of some KS5 teaching if desired.
