When Andrew completed his PGCE, not even he could have predicted the career path that followed. These days, he applies his passion, enthusiasm and good sense of humour across the four businesses which make up Pertemps Professional Recruitment.
Since he left the classroom, Andrew has spent 25 years in recruitment, including four appointments as a managing director in the education, healthcare, social care and international markets. He has specialised in supplying qualified teachers, health professionals and social workers into healthcare organisations, schools, the NHS, and local authorities/private institutions respectively, for both temporary and permanent vacancies.
As the father of two boys, Andrew understands how fulfilling it can be to nurture something and help it grow. He has similar feelings about his business, and has enjoyed taking it from scratch and building the successful and thriving organisation it is today.
Anyone working with Andrew will know he approaches business with ambition and creativity. When it comes to lateral thinking, it’s not as if he likes to think outside the box – no boxes are allowed at Pertemps Professional Recruitment!
